Atif R asked:

I have a Samsung HDTV (model LN32A450) and when I connect my LG R500 laptop to it with an HDMI cable, I get a black border around all sides of the picture. The HDTV has a native resolution of 1366×768 and even when I select that resolution on my laptop, I still get the black border. Any ideas?

You running XP, by chance? See if there’s an Intel (Graphics Media Accelerator Driver) icon on the right side of the task bar, near the clock. Looks like a blue box. If so, right click on it, go to Graphics Options>Panel Fit>Full Screen (No Border).

It’s all about the format you’re viewing it in. Most new TVs have several formats to choose from.
